About this coffee

Yonny is a first generation coffee producer with an inspiring story. He made the decision to migrate to find work at the young age of 14, and worked for 17 years with the idea of buying land to start a coffee farm. After working to earn money, Yonny purchased this plot of land which was already operating as a coffee farm. The coffee plants are around 30 years old now, but Yonny is already working to slowly renovate the farm in a sustainable way.  Now that he runs a few small parcels of land, he’s faced challenges along the way, but he’s proud to grow coffee to support his family, a wife and 4 kids.

All of Yonny’s coffees are processed in his wet mill. He himself is in charge of processing of these lots.
The coffee is depulped soon after picking and is fermented in a concrete tank. Fermentation lasts 18-24 hours depending on the weather. After being washed, the coffee is then moved to a cement patio where it remains in the sun for about 5 day, spending roughly six hours in the sun per day.


All our coffees are roasted fresh every week. After your order the coffee will be ready for shipping or pick up after 2 – 3 days.

We offer all our coffees in beans, because they stay fresh for much longer than pre-ground coffee. If you’d like to have your coffee ground, please indicate in the notes.
